1. US Foreign Policy
1st - You and your partner will be assigned one of six countries. 2nd - You will need to read about your country and complete the graphic on your notebook handout, adding 4 key ideas to the country diagram about U.S. foreign policy in that location. 3rd -You and your partner will create 2 metaphors to represent US foreign policy in the country. One from the perspective of the US and other from the perspective of your location.

2. What is a Metaphor? Example: Jessica is a peach. Ryan is a fox.
Makes a comparison without using like or as.
Example: Jessica is a peach.
Ryan is a fox.

3. Read assigned country and the primary source quotations to gain perspectives from both sides.
As you read about your country together you will create a Metaphor to represent the perspective of the US and the other country.
You will need to write these metaphors on the paper provided because they will be posted in the classroom.
