8 A View of Heaven POINT: If you could see into heaven,
Not many have had this view of heaven Micaiah (1 Kings 22:19) John (Revelation 4:2) Ezekiel (Ezekiel 1:1) Zechariah? (Zechariah 3:1) POINT: If you could see into heaven, how would it make you feel? 1Ki 22:19 Micaiah said, "Therefore, hear the word of the LORD. I saw the LORD sitting on His throne, and all the host of heaven standing by Him on His right and on His left. Eze 1:1 Now it came ….while I was by the river Chebar among the exiles, the heavens were opened and I saw visions of God. 9 A Fearful Conclusion POINT: If you realized your inadequacy,
When a person comes to the presence of God: Their inadequacy is revealed Judges 6:22, 13:22 Their fate becomes clear Job 4:17 'Can mankind be just before God? Can a man be pure before his Maker? POINT: If you realized your inadequacy, how would it make you feel? Jg 6:22 When Gideon saw that he was the angel of the LORD, he said, "Alas, O Lord GOD! For now I have seen the angel of the LORD face to face.“ Jg 13:22 So Manoah said to his wife, "We will surely die, for we have seen God."

10 What It Means to be Saved
What does it mean to be saved? Romans 8:23-24 How ought a person react to salvation? POINT: If you understood what being saved means, how would it make you feel? Ro 8:23-24 And not only this, but also we ourselves, having the first fruits of the Spirit, even we ourselves groan within ourselves, waiting eagerly for our adoption as sons, the redemption of our body. For in hope we have been saved, but hope that is seen is not hope; for who hopes for what he already sees?

11 The Calling of the Christian
Isaiah’s mission is repeatedly restated to Christians Matthew 13:14, Mark 4:10, Luke 8:10, John 12:40 Acts 28:26 Romans 11:8 We are called to bring a message to the world POINT: If you knew what God wanted of you, how would it make you feel?

12 The World’s Reply POINT: If you know that no matter what,
Isaiah foresaw how most would react Deaf Blind Insensitive YET: there will always be a few who listen Isaiah 55:11 POINT: If you know that no matter what, some success is going to occur, how would it make you feel? Isa 55:11 So shall My word be that goes forth from My mouth; It shall not return to Me void, But it shall accomplish what I please, And it shall prosper in the thing for which I sent it.

13 Conclusion s Isaiah’s calling was the same as ours Brought to glory and salvation Called to act on it Warned of the difficulties Advised of the success James 5:10 My brethren, take the prophets, who spoke in the name of the Lord, as an example of suffering and patience.
