2. Part 1: Vocab activity
1. Divide class into 8 groups. 2. Each group will receive 2 notecards with a vocabulary word at the top. 3. In your groups discuss the meaning of the word. On the notecard do the following: - Write a definition (own words) - Use the word in a sentence - Add a colored picture/symbol (Visualize) 4. Share. Everyone will need to write the terms and definitions in their notebooks as groups share.

4. Part 2: Scenarios
1. Each group will receive a scenario of a worker during the Depression. Read it together.
Each group will then get a budget worksheet. Complete the 1928 calculations.
Read the scenario again and complete the 1933 calculations.
4. Discuss and complete the 4 questions at the bottom of the worksheet.
