Lower part of brain that connects to spinal cord is the size of your thumb! It controls such things as breathing and digestion.
Weighs approximately 3 pounds (1.5 Kg) and is about 15 cm in length (that is ½ a regular ruler!!)

3. Cerebellum: TAKE NOTES
AKA “Little Brain”
Controls balance (have you ever wondered why you can stand up without falling over)
Also known as the “know how” to do something (when you learn a new skill, this part of your brain remembers it)

4. Cerebrum : TAKE NOTES Main part of the brain
Divided into lobes (each with its own functions and responsibilities)
Where all other work is done / interpreted (compared to the cerebellum)
