Our class is making nonfiction come to life!

2. WHAT is it?
This is a project where you will dress up like the person in your biography.
On the day of Tap ‘N Talk, your “button” will be pushed and you will come alive, talking about the life of the person in your biography as if he/she were you! When you are finished speaking, you will simply freeze until someone else pushes your button.
DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FOR THIS PROJECT! Look around your house for different items—you’d be surprised at what you can find to turn things into. (Ex. hairbrush to a microphone!)

3. WHO will see us?
Other classes, parents, & administrators are invited in to see our “museum”.

5. WHEN is it??
Wednesday, March 28th during your LA academic class period.
I’ll allow 10 minutes for you to change clothes and practice before the other visitors come into our museum. 

6. WHY are we doing this?
We are making our nonfiction biography reading “come to life”!
You’ve been reading a biography, and this is a chance for you to show off what you know about that person in a creative way!
This project not only helps us with nonfiction reading, but it is also a chance to practice our public speaking skills.
Your artifact book will be another creative component of this exciting project!

7. Is this a grade? OF COURSE! This will be a project grade.
It’s an EXCELLENT (and easy) way for you to improve your Language Arts grade!
