3 Syllabus Refer to the handout. Read. Any questions?
You and a parent/guardian complete the back page of the syllabus. Return by Friday, January 22 for a HW (minor) grade!

4 Be on time to class! Learning begins when the bell rings. You can’t leave for the first 15 minutes!

5 FYI… Put your cell phone in the shoe rack. One day = one sticker
One sticker = 1/5 point One week = one point toward a unit test If you don’t put your cell phone in the shoe rack, I can take it for the rest of the period or even the rest of the day!  I will tell you when you can and can’t use it. FYI…

10 Opening Question #1 Write ‘Week 1’ at the top of the sheet. Write your name on the sheet. Divide Monday’s space into three sections. Write ‘K’ in the first section, ‘W’ in the second section, and ‘L’ in the third section. Write what you know about Ms. Lasater under ‘K.’ Write what you want to know about Ms. Lasater under ‘W.’ Write what you learned about Ms. Lasater under ‘L.’

Turn to a classmate. Make introductions. Write what you ‘know’ about them under ‘K.’ Write what you ‘want to know’ about them under ‘W.’ Ask them and write what you ‘learned’ under ‘L.’
