To know and understand the different types of erosion and how this causes changes to the landscape
To know and understand the different types of waves and how much damage they might cause

3. Starter Copy down the following statement:
Weathering and erosion work together. Weathering breaks up and weakens the surface of rocks while erosion wears away and removes the loosened material.
List the following in order of how hard they are. Give the hardest first and the softest last
chalk, rubber, sandstone, granite, gold, soap, wood, steel and diamond
Choose any three from your list and say how they might be worn down.
