All of history is conflict between economic classes Hegelian Dialectic (Thesis Vs Antithesis =Synthesis) Bourgeoisie replaced the feudal nobility and ushered in the Industrial Revolution Bourgeoisie exploits the working class (Proletariat) Capitalist profits are wealth stolen from the workers

Predicted Revolution Marx predicted that the proletariat would revolt against the Bourgeoisie and seize the factors of production Then create a “dictatorship of the proletariat” End the use of capitalism Train the population to work for society rather than individual gain

Communism The dictatorship would fade into a classless society
The final stage of history, (no opposing antithesis) Free of oppression and conflict Free of religion and war Community ownership of land and capital Equal distribution of the wealth End of private property End of marriage and the family
