Getting Started New entry in Table of Contents “What’s Happening Inside” Go to the appropriate page and title and date page. Write the C.Q.: What do you know about the organs and systems of the human body?

Organ Structures composed of one or more tissues that perform a function or a group of functions within the human body Organ System several organs that work together to perform a function

Brainstorm Take one minute to brainstorm a list of organs that are found in the human body. Record your list in your notebook. Now add functions (what do they do) to that list.

What’s Happening Inside
Take you organ/structure cards and sort according to FUNCTION! You should have 7 groups. If you do not know an organ make a educated prediction Add system cards when you think you have your groups set.

Put cards back in groups you had yesterday. Listen Carefully and make corrections. Add Functions to each organ in your groups and complete the worksheet you received yesterday
