What does ANZAC mean? ANZAC means Australian New Zealand Army Corps.

When was WW1? World War 1 started in 1914 and ended 1918
World war 1 started because Archduke Francis Ferdinand was assassinated by a Serbian.

Where is Gallipoli? Gallipoli is in Turkey.
Gallipoli is important to the Allies because it was where the war was going on at the time.

What is ANZAC Day ANZAC Day is where we remember all the soldiers who died for you and me. We celebrate ANZAC Day by marching.
