2. The Trojans were amazed and sent scouts to check for any Greek soldiers.
The Trojans believed the Greeks had surrendered and sailed back to Greece.
The Trojans pulled the horse into the city and celebrated their victory.
Later, as Troy slept, the Greek army broke out of the wooden horse, captured the palace and killed the king.
Only Helen was saved. Odysseus took her to King Menelaus who forgave her.
The Greek army returned to Greece. Their journey is the setting for another famous story: The Odyssey.
