morality and humanitarianism – Americans tend to be quick in helping those less fortunate

In order to have social change, there has to be something already in place.
Ideology –
a system of beliefs or ideas that justifies the social, moral, religious, political or economic interests held by a group or by society

9. And, when change is wanted… Social Movement
long-term conscious effort to promote or prevent social change
