- Warm air over land rises - Rising air cools (and may condense) - Cooled air moves back over ocean and sinks Ocean is cooler compared to land (cold source, aka heat sink)

3 Land Breeze During the night, land cools quicker than water
- Warm air over water rises - Rising air cools (and may condense) - Cooled air moves back over land and sinks
