2. UNDER 14 AND 19 BOYS TOURNAMENT
BOYS TOURNAMENT- Under 14 boys tournament was held at G.S.S.S. Nichar. J.V.M. Sholtu boys participated and exhibited wonderful performance. Beside, being winner in major games like basket ball and football, the school also won the All Round Best School Trophy. Under 19 boys tournament was held at G.S.S.S. Kalpa from 23 Aug to 28 Aug . The young talents participated in many sport events and cultural activities. Based on their performance at District Level, students of JVM Sholtu got selected for State Level Tournament & will represent District Kinnaur.

4. FUN ACTIVITIES AND GAMES- Keeping young minds active and engaged is key to promoting mental development. Active minds of J.V.M. Sholtu were all busy on Saturday with cards, ball bat, hockey, badminton and hoola hoops. The day at school ended up by watching cartoon movies . Badge making activity was also held on Saturday. The girls from class IX to XII participated house wise and made colorful badges for their house. Student Council members & House on Duty will now use these badges during their duties.

5. INDEPENDENCE DAY- Independence day was observed in the school. H. O. H
INDEPENDENCE DAY- Independence day was observed in the school. H.O.H. of HBPCL Shri Gyan Bhadra ji hoisted the flag and graced the occasion. Children presented a beautiful song followed by a wonderful play on cleanliness.

6. ASSET TEST- ASSET ( Assessment of Scholastic Skill through Educational Testing ) was conducted in the 3rd week of August. A skill based assessment program, that challenged our students academically to reflect their true potential RAINY SEASON ACTIVITY- NUR-KG kids were all delighted and happy with their paper boats (paper folding) and LO! all dashed towards the little puddles of water on the play ground, to float their smart paper boat. Probably one of the sweetest rain memory.

7. I AM GROWING UP- It is interesting to grow up “to be honest, about what I want, what I need and above all what I feel”. Children must deal with physical emotional and psychological changes as they grow. We at J.V.M.Sholtu are there to navigate the confusing world of children. Counseling is done from time to time for different classes On 15th July the primary boys and girls of class III to V were counseled about importance of hygiene and how to maintain it. The kids were happy and shared their views. In the end all of them happily swayed to the rhythm of the poem on ‘Cleanliness’ Later on, counseling session was held for students of grade VI to VIII. Discussion was held about the challenges faced by the children in day to day life. Students were guided about their thoughts and anxieties of growing up.
