2. Bell Ringer: FRIDAY, April 20th
First, look only at the pictures that the person across from you has brought in. On your bell ringer, write your initial impressions of these photos? What do you see? What do you think the narrative is? (At LEAST 2-3 sentences).
After you have done this, read through the author’s entry. After you do so, list two things that you liked about the entry, and one piece of constructive criticism.
Then, analyze the piece in terms of “Reader’s Realization” (just like we did for “The Dime Store Floor”). Does the writer’s experience connect in some way to your own life? Did the writer’s revelations lead you to reflect upon your own attitudes or ideals? Please be thoughtful in your response.
