DOUBLE DOORS ELEVATORS

2 PASSENGER’S ELEVATOR Do’s and Don’ts
Elevators can carry you from ground to the Penthouse floor.

3 The Unwritten: Elevator Etiquette Rules
Hurry up doors, open! Please, let me off! Gosh! OH NO! OOPS! No unpleasant odors, burping or expelling of other bodily gases. This one seems like common sense but unfortunately, it’s on the list for a reason.

4 Parked in Front of the Elevators Doors
If you are not getting off at the next floor and are parked in front of the doors, when said doors open, stand aside! Don’t look surprised and offended when the peons in the back of the car yell, “Excuse Me!” You have to be stupid not to understand that if the button for this floor was lit when you got on the elevator, there is someone who needs to exit on this floor. Singing on an elevator is totally out! Singing on an Elevator

5 Count to Five After the Doors Open…
She can’t wait till we get off? I need on this elevator! Everyone is in a hurry. Those waiting to get on the elevator must count to five after the doors open, before attempting to enter. If in that five seconds a person inside the car moves toward the door, the person waiting to enter must stand aside and allow them to leave. This is the only way to prevent pandemonium at every floor. It’s impossible for everyone to enter and exit through a four-foot wide opening at the same time. Count to Five After the Doors Open…

6 So, our business is important . Why are they looking at me?
Digital Natives So, our business is important . Why are they looking at me? After a ride on an elevator with cell phones.

7 This is something one should never do…
That is so dangerous!! Man, do you have a death wish? ….and that is get caught in between elevators doors, this is dangerous to you health.

8 The Written: Elevator Etiquette Rules
While waiting to board the elevator, stand away from the doors. Someone may be exiting at this floor, and you should always let them exit before you attempt to board. Hold the door if someone is coming in. It’s good elevator etiquette to hold the elevator for others getting on the elevator. Don't hold the door for minutes for a friend or colleague who has taken a quick "side-trip" such as to get coffee, go to the restroom, etc. Never hold the door more than seconds on a crowded elevator. Break the ice politely if you wish. It never hurts to say "Good Morning" or "Hello" to people. Give people their space, if possible. There is nothing more annoying than having someone stand six inches from you on an un-crowded elevator.

9 Con’t If you are standing near the buttons, be willing to push a button for someone who asks if you can.. Exit quickly when you reach your floor. Get out quickly so that those waiting to board can do so. Stay farthest from the door if you will be the last person to step out. If you are traveling to the ground or top floor, it's better to stand farthest from the elevator doors after you board the lift. The End
