3. Tone Analysis Activity
Recognizing argument structures depends often on TONE. Think more specifically about the range of tones by completing this activity.

4. Small groups: Look on the back of your tone sheet. Find the number.
If you are a 1,2 or 3, you will discuss “Mind over Muscle.”
If you are a 4,5 or 6, you will discuss “Putting Down the Gun.”
Find your classmates with the same number. Bring your textbook, your rhetorical triangles, and your tone analysis sheet.

5. Turn in rhetorical triangles, small group discussion guide, and tone analysis sheet.
