Objective: I can find the difference between a 2 digit number and 100 using a number line.

Review Casey’s dad went to the store and bought a container of 26 cupcakes for her birthday to bring to school. Since there were 34 kids in her class this wasn’t enough. Casey’s mom went to the store and bought another pack of 45 cupcakes. How many cupcakes did Casey have in all? Don’t forget to use UPS Check! At the sticker station you can buy a sticker book to store your stickers in. Each page can hold 10 strips of 10 stickers. Oscar bought 72 train stickers and put them in his sticker book. Independent Practice Left Side:
Roll 2 dice to create a 2 digit number. You must then figure out the difference to 100 by drawing a number line. Do this 5 times. Challenge 1: Roll 2 dice to create a 2 digit numbers. Find the difference between that number and 500. Challenge 2: Roll 3 dice to create a 3 digit number. Find the difference between that number and 1,000.
