2. Discuss features of the text – short sentences with exclamations, alliteration, photo’s, title. Numbered items, easily laid out, non-fiction.
Look at other examples of alliteration by looking at pictures.
Look at different holiday brochures and label the following: alliteration, heading, sub-heading, speaking directly to you, rhetorical questions, persuasive adjectives.

3. Create some examples of alliteration and exclamations by looking at pictures e.g. colourful markets!, beautiful buildings.
