2. Kaboom
Teams of 3-5
On cards you will write each word from the “Know the Lingo” handout from last class on one side. On the other side you write the definition. Then you write "Kaboom" on about 3-7 cards and shuffle them.
How to play:
Each person gets a turn to draw a card from the container. They read the word aloud for the group to hear. The rest of the team has 10 seconds to give the definition. If they get it right, they get the card.
If they don't get it, the card goes back into the stack. If a Kaboom is drawn, all their cards have to be given back. The cards from the kabooms and the kabooms don't have to be put back in the stack, just aside. This is because the game would go on forever if everything was placed back! The person with the most slips at the end of the game wins.
