Also called Mud carp Cyprinus snodgrass Country of origin: Oz Habitat: Weedy rivers with muddy substrate. Likes deep water Size: To 99cm Preferred water conditions: ph7 still or slow-moving. Behaviour: Slow swimming, shoaling fish with a big appetite; hard to see because of natural camouflage. Eats: Worms, insects, fish eggs.
