4. Quote visualization—groups of 2-3
Choose a quote that you believe is most important/powerful from part I of Metamorphosis.
(ON BACK—2-3 sentences) In your explanation, give the quote context within the plot—who’s speaking? What’s going on at this point?
(ON BACK—2-3 sentences) In your analysis, connect the quotation to one of the emerging themes (isolation/alienation, family, social class/work, metamorphosis). Also consider literary devices used, symbolism, etc. 4-5 sentences.
(ON FRONT) Create a drawing that represents/depicts the meaning/message and importance of the passage.
