Open your computer and begin logging on. Log on to iLit. Copy the following words. Circle their prefixes and/or suffixes. RELUCTANTLY IRRITABLE PATHETIC Once you are logged on, go to: Assignments Monitor Progress 1.5 Reading Check This will be considered a quiz grade.

3 Unit 1: Lesson 6 Vocabulary Words
Reluctantly: Describes an action that is done slowly because one does not want to do it. Irritable: Annoyed and short tempered. Pathetic: Sad or pitiful.

4 Vocabulary (Lessons 1-5):
Defiance: When a person disobeys rules. Hulking: Very large or heavy. Enforce: To make a person obey a rule. Bellowed: Shout in a loud voice out of anger. Recline: To lean or lie back. Habitation: Where someone lives. Stupefied: Stunned or shocked. Hordes: Large crowds of people.

6 Work Time: Students will be working independently on the following: Work on iPractice: Any assignments in red. 3) Work on Spelling Study Plan. 4) Work on the Interactive Reader assignment sent to them (in Assignments). 6) Go to the Library. Click My Level. Choose a book to begin reading.
