Verbs use different forms depending on WHO is doing the action and WHEN the action takes place. Ex. I write, she wrote, we will write These are examples of different CONJUGATIONS of the verb “to write”

In English, the infinitive usually has the word “to” in front of it. Ex. To eat, to laugh, to like

In Spanish the infinitive always ends in –ar, -er, or –ir. Ex. Nadar, leer, and escribir

How do you say “to” in Spanish as in “to dance”?
You don’t say “to”!! You just say “Bailar” Other examples…Hablar=to talk, correr=to run, escribir=to write
