2. What is it?
A book battle is when teams of students read books together and then compete against other teams to see who can remember the most details from the books they have read.

3. Competition question format
In which book….
…Is a character an apprentice artist?
…Can a kitchen feed approximately 100 people a day?
…Did someone die after they fell off a ladder and broke their neck?

4. The Battle of the Books competition will take place on these dates:

· Wednesday, March 20 at 2:30pm, Final Round
· Thursday, April 4, party for all participants after school in the LMC
· Wednesday, April 10, Pioneer MS, Multi- District competition during school (11am) 1 2 P C

5. PRIZES Gift cards for each 1st place team member
