4. Curriculum Formats of writing Assessments
Creative writing, informational writing, argumentative writing, and literature analysis writing.
Assessments
Independent and class book projects, collaborative discussions, presentations, written assessments, etc.

5. Late work Homework is accepted late
For each day late, 10% is taken off, unless the use of a homework pass.
Late work is accepted for the entire marking period
Students receive two homework passes each marking period to turn in homework without penalty.
Students must fill out an assignment form, and put it in their hour folder.

6. Late Work
Formal Assessments MUST be completed in order to earn a passing grade for the marking period
They may be turned in late. Points may be deducted.
Students cannot use a homework pass for larger assessments.
Students can always meet with me to complete an assessment

7. Absent/Make up work
Students are responsible for checking my website/ Google Classroom to figure out what they missed
Students can check the “What did you miss” bin.
Students can also ask the Homework Helper.
Students can always hand write an assignment or assessment
