EQ: How do psychologists use charts and graphs to represent their statistics?

Positive Correlations:
Expressed in positive numbered correlational coefficients ( ) The higher the number, the higher the correlation

Negative Correlations:
Expressed in negative numbered correlational coefficients ( ) The Lower the number, the higher the correlation

What the Coefficients Mean:
The higher the number, the more likely variable a and variable b are related The lower the number, the less likely variable a and variable b are related

Standard Deviation: Can be expressed in a bell curve
The shape of the curve tells us how much deviation there is (This one represents perfect deviation)

Skewed Deviation: When one or multiple of the results throws off the standard deviation, we end up with a skewed bell graph like the one below
