2. Parliamentary
In a parliamentary most of the power lies with the legislative body or Parliament. It is the law making body of the government. The parliament elects the prime minister who serves as head of government and the leader of the legislature.
The people have a say in the government through PARLIAMENTARY elections. Then the parliament elect the government leaders.
Often there is a head of state…King or queen) but they have very little power.

4. Presidential Democracy
Power is divided between the legislature ( In the US it is called Congress, the law making body)and the executive , usually called a president. The people elect the legislature and the president separately. The president and the legislature have separate jobs and different powers. They do work together but neither have power over the other.
