2. Main Facts Cambodia is a country located in the southeast part of Asia
Cambodian citizens consider themselves to be Khmers.
The country was occupied by Japan in World War II and it became independent in 1953.
Cambodia went through a 13 year war with Vietnam because of Vietnamese occupation.
Cambodia joined the United Nations the 20 th of September 1960.

3. Khmer Rouge Khmer Rouge was a big part in Cambodian history.
It was the name given to the followers of the Communist Party of Kampuchea in Cambodia.
The people that follow these ideas are still on trials for crimes against humanity.

5. Female years schooling. They have problems because some factors; one factor is that they are needed at home to take care of their younger brothers.
Second factor is the poverty and because the schools are far away and they also can be rape because they go alone.

5. 7. Access non solid fuels;It is a big problem not to have solid fuels because in order to cook and lighting is difficult and also it carries a lot of health problems.
9. R&D Expenditures; They expend time in research and development in public and private and they are discovering knowledge and more about society and they use this for new applications
16. Homicides; A lot of people was killed and in one occasion unicef needed to enter because in a year more than a million people was killed, also some mafias appear and that cause a lot of kills and murders
