1 Angles and Missing Measurements Day 90/91
Objective: You will use your understanding of angles to: 1) use angle relationships to find measures of missing angles 2) write multi-step equations to solve for missing angles. by viewing power point presentations and completing practice problems with a partner. Vocabulary: a) Vertical Angles - Angles formed by two intersecting lines and are opposite each other. Vertical angles are congruent b) Adjacent Angles - Angles that share a vertex and a side but no points in their interiors c) Complementary Angles - Two angles whose sum is 90 degrees d) Supplementary Angles - Two angles whose sum is 180 degrees Warm-up: Case 21 problems Copy Vocabulary and create a drawing to represent the meaning. Lesson Day One: View Angle Relationships PPT With a partner complete Angle Relationship examples HW: Finding Missing Angle Measurements WKSH Lesson Day Two – Writing Equations: View Finding Missing Angle – Equations PPT Begin practice with a partner on Angles in a Triangle WKSH HW: Complete Angles in a Triangle
