Answer can only have as many sig. digits as the smallest number of sig figs of either of the numbers your multiplying/dividing
Ex m x 2.1m
23.04m x 2.1m = m
BUT 2.1m only has 2 significant figures and it is your smallest number so you have to round to 2 sig. figures in your answer
