3. My name is Gunnar Catchim and I am a Senior Constable of police attached to the Forensic Services Group. I have a degree in Forensic Science and specialise in fingerprint analysis.
On the 31st March 2014 I re-read the statement I tendered as part of the brief of evidence in relation to a vehicle theft and collision at Paradise Point.
On page 2 of that statement I described a scrap of torn white paper caught in the centre rear seatbelt. In my original statement I referred to that item as exhibit S3. This is incorrect and an error on my part.
That item is sealed and labelled exhibit S3A.
(exhibit S3 is a sample of a soft brown substance on the drivers seat belt clip.)
