To nominate Safety Link-Persons well aware of the project, of the status of the sub-detector, having time to devote to safety aspects, having enough responsibilities to be able to implement safety measures. To establish a list of non-metallic materials, In order to assess the total fire load in the final detector, Highlighting materials not complying with the rules of Safety Instructions No 23 and 24, In order to assess the full risk associated to fire, including smoke density, toxicity and corrosiveness of fire gases. + a Remind about Safety :
According to SAPOCO 42, the hierarchy in terms of safety follows the same lines as the hierarchy in terms of supervision : The DL is responsible for all safety aspects in his/her Division (He/she nominates a DSO and GLIMOSes) A Project Leader is responsible for all safety aspects concerning his/her project (He/she may nominate a Safety Link-Person) A Team Leader is responsible for the safety of his/her team and the work done by his/her team. … TIS edicts the Safety Rules (= law) and watch over their application (inspectors and coordinators = policemen) + we have our own helpers : GLIMOS, FGSO, TSOs (= “internal policemen”) TB Marc Tavlet - GLIMOS
