What is it? The other day, my eyes fell on a random line from the book I was reading, and I thought it would make a good start to a poem… So I wrote it down… And then I did it again…

I beg your pardon… Get a book. Shut your eyes.
3. Flick through the pages. 4. Bring your finger down blindly on a small string of words. 5. Write them down. 6. Repeat this process until you have a nice selection of interesting phrases. 7. Combine them to make a poem!

Here’s one I made earlier…
Two Blissful Weeks I said It had hurt because _______ Part two He answered. Like him, I was half afraid. ______ Part three But it had hurt because her glance simply implied I would be alone.

The Door to the Ward “Are you dead?”
She flew out of the tree and over the rooftops. “Yes” I said, as he held me tight to keep me safe. “I was dreaming. I was sleepwalking.” Hundreds of tiny creases and cracks all over his pale face… a smell of dust. “Brilliant” I said.
