WHAT AMOUNT OF GLUE WILL MAKE THE
Flarp MORE MOLDABLE?

3. Backround
I chose this topic because it looked fun! Also i don’t need any adult supervision, except with the borax. Also it isn't that difficult so i shouldn't have many problems.

4. If I add 3 tbsp of glue then the Flarp will be more moldable.
Hypothesis
If I add 3 tbsp of glue then the Flarp will be more moldable.

5. Variables a.) Independent (what I will be changing)
I will be changing the amount of glue.
b.) Dependent (what will respond to the change)
What amount of glue will make the flarp more moldable.
c.) Controls (what will remain the same)
Other Ingredients, jars, steps, mixing materials.

6. Procedures/Description
1- You will need 2 jars with the other ingredients added.
2- Label the jars. (1 tbsp, 2 tbsp)
3- Add the glue to the two different jars.
4- Shake/mix until glue is fully diluted, no gluey bumps remain.
5- Wear gloves and take a piece out from each jar one by one.
6- Feel which one you can mold the most.
7- Write down your observations, descriptions on your data table.
8- Clean up! (don't pour in drain throw away!)

I made A ball Shape and it worked but it wasn’t perfect, it was a little dysfunctional.

9. Conclusion
My science fair question is What amount of glue will make the flarp more moldable?In my experiment i added 1 tablespoon to one jar of flarp and 2 tablespoons to the other. My data from my experiment was the one with 2 tablespoons was way too much glue it was sticky. The other was perfect it could be molded easily. My data does not support my hypothesis because i said the 2 tbs would be moldable and it wasn't. i've learned that you have to be exact when you're measuring the things to make the stuff. A error that occurred were me putting too much water in one of the jars while making the flarp. Something that i would do differently next time is be more careful with measuring things.
