Involved finding something historic about the community. It was a statewide contest with winners receiving cash rewards.
4
I think this really helped me more than anything else has in my life with my literary skills. It also helped me with learning things I had never known about the community.
5
I remember dreading the History day project my sophomore year since I had never done it before, and it was the first year my school was participating.

I was never the greatest writer or enjoyed it very much but once we got started I became very interested and enjoyed it. During the 2 years I participated I was able to learn a lot about writing, and about the community. I enjoyed being able to write about the history and informing others.
7
Sophomore Year My teacher my sophomore year just taught me to just write, write, and write. I could always edit it out.
8
History day Unfortunetly, I was never able to win the city competition and qualify for state. Even without winning I still feel like I learned a lot and it was very beneficial. I was able to learn to work with a partner, with teamwork, and reliability.
