2 Pupil a hole located in the center of the iris of the eye that allows light to enter the retina

3 Lens is a transparent structure in the eye that helps to refract light to be focused on the retina

4 Retina is a light-sensitive layer of tissue, lining the inner surface of the eye

5 Photoreceptor type of neuron found in the retina

6 Blindspot Area on the retina without receptors that respond to light. Therefore an image that falls on this region will NOT be seen!

7 Visual acuity clearness of vision, which is dependent on the sharpness of the retinal focus

8 Complementary Colors which are opposite to each other on the color wheel. Complements are red and green and blue and orange

9 Afterimage optical illusion that refers to an image continuing to appear in one's vision after the exposure to the original image has ceased.
