7 10th Amendment Recognized that the power of the federal government is limited. It states that any powers the Constitution does not specifically give to the federal government belong to the states or the people.

8 Florida Declaration of Rights
The Constitution of Florida begins with the Declaration of Rights It is modeled after the Bill of Rights. Like the Bill of Rights is guarantees trial by jury, due process and freedom of religion, speech and the press. It is broader than the Bill of rights because it contains 27 sections as opposed to the Bill of Rights 10 amendments.
