2 MCHS—2nd Highest Graduation Rate in the STATE!!!
Where the state and community see 98.8%, we all know that behind that percentage are individual students with stories of success, loss, tragedy, struggle, and sacrifice. We encouraged them, entertained them, laughed with them, held them while they cried, got frustrated with them, drug them to school, stayed extra hours to help them, went the “extra mile” plus another mile or two for them, and celebrated when they walked across the stage. They are ours students, and they are so much more to us than a number. I am PROUD to be part of such an amazing group of educators and am so thankful for all you do to help our students succeed. 3 Reminders and Information
Nov. 18 Faculty Meeting has been moved to Nov. 30th Nov —Thanksgiving Holidays—YEAH!!!!! Be MORE attentive in the hallways and restrooms between classes December 2—G-SAPS Review IS YOUR TEACHER PORTFOLIO READY? Lesson plans with differentiated lesson every week? Data section up to date with notes on how you are using data to drive instruction? Parent contacts ready? Student work with standards commentary posted?

4 Certified Absences Goal: < 400

5 Infinite Campus is showing that we have ZERO students who have missed more than 5 days of school. That information is, obviously, incorrect. I have contacted the Central Office for assistance. We know student attendance is a concern, so please continue to monitor and notify parents then counselors of attendance concerns.

6 Students Missing More than 5 Days 2014: 51.2% 2015 Goal: < 40%

7 Discipline Goal: < 350
