3. Distance Distance is the amount of space between two points.
We are Canadian, we use the metric system. Distance is in meters (m).

4. Time Time is the duration of time between two points.
Usually want it in seconds (s) or a convertible quantity
Seconds (s), minutes (min), hour (h), days (days), years (years).

5. Speed Speed is the rate of motion.
Use meters per second (m/s) or kilometers per hour (km/h)

One of the many skills in this chapter is being able to measure distance, time and speed. How do we do this? HANDS ON OF COURSE!
In this activity we will focus on measuring distance.
