Will there be any left for Mr. Waigand? These fractions are hard to add because they have different denominators. If you use fraction bars, you can’t tell where ¼ is on the 1/3 bar.

We can split the fourths and thirds into the same-sized unit fractions.
We can split each third into 4 parts. We can also split each forth into 3 parts. That will give us twelfths on both bars.
