Point C has integer coordinates
The graph of the line 𝐴𝐶 is not a function
The students are choosing a single point for C, that will make a non function. In order for this to happen, there would need to be a point either above A or below A, but in the same vertical line as A.
There is no need for calculators on this problem.

For the line AC to be a non function, C needs to be in the same vertical line as A, but either above or below it. That will be the only way it would not be a function, since a non function would be a vertical line. The line is drawn in for the students, though they did not need to do that. The point needs to be along this line. It can be any of the following points:

(3, 4)
(3, 3)
(3, 1)
(3, 0)
(3, -1)
(3, -2)
(3, -3)
(3, -4)
(3, -5)
The answer shows a solution at (3, -2), but any of them would work.
