Minimum Requirements 16 hours of service 6 hours of “core service”
4 hours per quarter

Core Service Service with people experiencing homelessness, hunger, or poverty Service with children in need Service with people who are developmentally and/or physically disabled Service with the elderly

Non-qualifying Types of Service
Helping or caring for family members Volunteering at your old school Liturgical involvement (altar serving, choir, lectoring)

Packet with 90+ agencies where students can volunteer Regularly updated list of one-time opportunities Resources for Students

Invitation Engage in service together
Allow students to set up service themselves Encourage students to seek out interesting and new experiences
