Speeches – I will take volunteers and then we are going in reverse alphabetical order
Vocabulary: Write one sentence for each word and label what part of speech it is.
For example: #1: I have animosity (noun) towards Hitler for the things he did.
Read to page 39 by next class. Complete the Double Journal Entry handout while you read.

There are only three parts of speech you need to know for this unit.
Adjective – modifies a noun
Ex. The hairy man is gross.
Hairy modifies man.
Noun – a person, place, thing, or idea.
Verb – the action
