4. Race Against Yourself
Each student gets a review packet and needs a slate & marker.
Each student works through the review packet problems ON THEIR SLATE and then shows the teacher the slate.
The teacher gives them a thumbs up/down for the answer. If the student is correct, they need to copy their work (not just the answer) onto the packet for credit.
Be sure to put the problem # on the slate before you show the teacher because everyone will be working on different problems.
At a certain point, the teacher will toss out a "math vitamin” for the correct answer. Stay tuned…we won’t tell you which number ahead of time!
Students must go in order of the packet.
IF a student happens to finish the entire packet, he/she may help other students.
