Reading & Understanding Graphs

On EVERY graph you need to:
Provide a title for the graph and for each axis. Have an appropriate scale. Put the Dependent variable on the Y axis and the independent variable on the X. You will be marked down ALL year without these things.

When to Use Different Types of Graphs
We will use: Line, Bar & Pie Charts

A Line Graph: When you are tracking change over time.
A Bar Graph: When you want to compare between different groups. A Pie Chart: Compare Parts of a whole.

Examine each graph carefully.
What was tested, changed, or compared (INDEPENDENT VARIABLE) is plotted on the X-axis. The data that was observed & measured (DEPENDENT VARIABLE) is plotted on the Y-axis.

You will use Google Sheets to complete this assignment.
Graph your groups Heart Rate Lab Data! Each person should have 3 graphs. One for each of the conditions. To get your points for this assignment your graphs must be checked off by Mr. Anderson. You will use Google Sheets to complete this assignment.
