Who Can Join
A United States Citizen or Lawful Permanent Resident
Must be age 17 or older
Students enrolled at an Iowa Campus Compact Member Institution. And you are!
Those interested in serving their community
EARN money to repay student loans
What you get
Serve 300 hrs over a semester, an academic year, or a full year in exchange for $1,132 to be used for qualifying education expenses
Serve 450 hrs over a semester, an academic year, or a full year in exchange for $1,415 to be used for qualifying education expenses
GROW your professional skills
What you do
Provide services to no more than three area nonprofits
Provide one of the following services:
Volunteer Recruiter
Recruit volunteers and provide direct services
Volunteer Manager
Recruit and supervise volunteers, coordinate service activities
Capacity Specialist
Provide specialty skills like marketing, policy research, and program development
Receive training and professional development on a variety of topics
Record performance measurement data to Iowa Campus Compact
Serve a minimum of one hour per month
