Term: pieces of an expression that are separated by plus or minus signs, except when those signs are within grouping symbols like parentheses, brackets, or absolute value bars. Constant: a term that has no variable, because it never changes. Factors: the numbers and/or variables multiplied together. Coefficient: a factor (usually numeric) that is being multiplied to a variable. 1. 1b. 1c. You do problems 1, 2, 3 on WS.
