2. Gravity Vocabulary Force – a push or a pull
Gravity – a force that attracts all objects to each other
Mass – the amount of matter in an object
Weight – the force of gravity on an object

3. Gravity attracts ALL objects in the entire universe to each other!!!
Increase mass  increase gravity
Decrease distance  increase gravity
You don’t feel the gravity from your classmate, because you are both “small”
You don’t feel the gravity of the moon because it is too far away
You do feel the gravity of the Earth because it is very large and you are very close to it!!! 

4. Orbital Motion
Why doesn’t the Moon crash into the Earth because of gravity? Or the Earth into the Sun?

Inertia – the tendency of an object to resist changes in motion
