Which is sweeter sugar or sugar sweetener?

3. Background
I chose this question because I've always wondered which is sweeter. Some people always say that sugar is but other people say that sugar sweetener is. I just wanted to know which was who was telling the truth.

4. Hypothesis
If I test sugar and sugar sweetened than sugar will be sweeter.

5. Variables Independent- The sugar and sugar sweetener in the liquids.
Dependent- The sweetness of the liquids with sugar and sugar sweetener in it.
Controls- The type of sugar and sugar sweetener used, the same liquids, the same people testing, the same amount of sugar and sugar sweetener, the same scale used.

6. Procedure
1. Add the amount of sugar and sugar sweetener in the liquids.
2. Make the testers taste the liquids.
3. Let them rate the sweetness on a scale of 1-10.
4. Repeat steps 1-3 for other liquids.

People tended to say that with the kool-aid that truvia and sugar were sweeter.
With tea the testers said that the tea with the splenda was sweeter.

9. Conclusion 1. Which is sweeter sugar or sugar sweetener?
2. Testers tested the sweetness for sugar and sugar sweetener .
3. Sugar sweetener is about the same as sugar in sweetness.
4. My hypothesis was incorrect. Sugar is not sweeter than sugar sweetener .
5. I learned that people can spend less money on sugar to buy sugar sweetener because they are the same in sweetness.
6. I could have had more people test the liquids.
